About

What connects all of the projects I've worked on is the same impulse: find a complex problem with no obvious solution, and build one. I thrive on teams where I'm collaborating with smart people, different perspectives, and low ego, all working to solve something genuinely difficult. Cross-pollination across sectors has given me a deeper toolkit, and it strengthens every new problem I take on.

I work best in rooms where people are genuinely trying to figure something out. I bring optimism, a sense of humor, and a bias toward big ideas that become concrete things in the world. I care about approaching the work with empathy and accountability, and I think hard problems deserve people who are willing to sit with complexity rather than reach for the easy answer.

People tend to come to me for two things: strategic advice (mapping the steps from where you are to where you want to be) and thought partnership on problems that don't have obvious answers. What I've found I'm consistently good at is inventing new things people actually use, learning new domains fast (I've gone deep on race cars, retail innovation, auto hardware, benefits policy), and building work processes from scratch in places that don't have them yet.

If you're working on something interesting and could use a thought partner, I'd like to hear about it.
