About

My projects are connected through the same impulse to analyze a complex problem with no obvious answer, and build a solution that works. Cross-pollination across sectors has built a deeper toolkit that sharpens how I approach every new problem.

I thrive on teams of smart people with different perspectives and low ego, working in real partnership. I bring optimism, a sense of humor, and a bias toward big ideas that become concrete things in the world. I approach the work with empathy and accountability, as hard problems deserve people willing to sit with complexity.

People often come to me for two things: strategic advice that maps the steps from where you are to where you want to be, and a sounding board for tricky problems. I'm consistently good at inventing new things people actually use, learning new domains fast (race cars, retail innovation, auto hardware, benefits policy), and building work processes from scratch.
